This book is part of a series and to fully enjoy it you do need to read Change of Heart first. I found myself happy, scared, repulsed, angry, excited, and just plain sappy, throughout Trusted Bond. Its a hard combo for so many authors yet she has truly mastered her writings. I have yet to be disappointed by a Mary Calmes story as they are always passionate, engaging, H.O.T, and sweet. This should not be so hard even in Egypt! All Logan wants is to find and get back Jin.
